Nikken Rotary Tables utilize a 'V-Grade' Carbide Worm Screw that ensures high rigidity and virtually eliminates wear. The Nikken Worm Wheel is produced from hardened steel treated to HRC36 inside with a final ion-nitriding treatment at 0.10mm depth to HV930.

The hardness achieved overcomes the problems associated with sliding friction. Nikken's use of a Carbide Worm Screw and Steel Worm Screw ensures the life of the product far surpasses that of any competitors' equivalent models.

Exceptional Brake Torque (up to 5,000Nm!)

The proven tightening technology of Nikken's Ultra-Lock™ Milling Chuck is applied to be the brake of the tilting axis of 5-axis rotary tables. This virtually eliminates vibration at any tilting angle, and provides the rigidity necessary to perform heavy-duty operations including face milling and heavy drilling.

Nikken's Independent Alpha21 Controller

All Nikken CNC Rotary Tables have the option of being controlled directly by the CNC machine controller (with appropriate compatible drives fitted). An alternative is to control the Nikken CNC Rotary Table indirectly using 'M' Codes via the Nikken Alpha 21 Controller.

The Alpha 21 allows both indexing and feed movements for numerous applications and saves the expense associated with specific drive motors and interface cards for direct drive control. The Alpha 21 Controller also features RS232C communication for programming via the machine controller using either block data or Macro programming.
