MMC MINI-MINI COLLET CHUCKS – ACCURACY IN SMALL DIAMETER CUTTING

Five MMC Mini-Mini Collet Chucks and three collets are arranged upright on a white surface. The tool holders have a shiny, metallic finish and precise, machined details.If you need more clearance and flexibility in machining, the MMC Mini-Mini collet chuck features a slim and compact body for precision machining with small diameter tools (up to 0.500”). This will enable high runout accuracy with superb surface finish and part tolerance. EASY-TO-USE DRAW-IN COLLET CLAMPING

Text notes the wrench is included with both MMC Mini-Mini Collet Chuck types.With very few parts to set up, the MMC collet chuck provides quick and accurate assembly. An easy-to-use draw-in collet clamping mechanism enables clamping/unclamping with just a wrench.

Because a collet system is used, tool changeover is faster and less expensive than a tool holding system that requires a machine in order to insert or extract the cutting tool. The collet system for the MMC also allows for a wider range of sizes while with shrink fit you need a holder for each size of cutting tool.

Using either the AT type or AA type of collet clamping, it draws the collet into the center, which gives the MMC collet chuck its amazing accuracy.

The MMC collet chuck does NOT require a collet nut! Instead, an internal draw-in collet clamping mechanism results in strong, high-precision gripping at the nose and allows for a slim nose that can access hard to reach areas.

COOLANT-THRU CAPABILITIES

Two MMC Mini-Mini Coolant Collets, are shown side by side with internal coolant channels. The right collet is Coolant-thru tool as standard, while the left is periphery coolant for milling.Standard style coolant collets are mechanically sealed, and no additional accessories are required to make these collets coolant-thru the tool capable.

The jet slotted style collet has collet slots that allow for coolant to be supplied directly to the periphery of the cutting tool. During pocket milling operations, coolant along the periphery of the cutting tool will help flush out chips.
